Samil Chagpar

Samil received a B.A. (Hons) with Distinction in Classical Studies and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Queen’s University. He also holds a Master of Laws degree from the United Kingdom. After his Call to the Ontario Bar in June 2009, Samil joined SBMB Law where his practice consists primarily of Civil Litigation, with a focus on Employment Law, Human Rights and Family Law. He regularly appears before the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, and the Ontario and Superior Courts of Justice.

Samil serves on the executive of the Labour and Employment Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association. He is also a past Director of the York Region Law Association and is actively involved in the community as a Leader with Scouts Canada.
