Addressing workplace harassment is critical. Workplace harassment is a very serious situation with several laws set out to protect you against it. Workplace harassment is a course of vexatious conduct or comment engaged in by one employee or co-worker to another. It’s important that you immediately notify your supervisor or your human resources if you feel that you’re being harassed or discriminated against in your workplace. The employer has obligation to take steps to help alleviate that situation. If it doesn’t happen, you make a right to go through the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal to sue for discrimination in the workplace.
We take out rights very seriously and so should you. If you have any questions, please contact us and we’d be happy to discuss your case or you can visit our website.
